Central Oregon is the most beautiful place to take your family photos, in all seasons. Being a Bend native, I know how the sun sets over the mountains, where the grass is tall and lush, the rivers are pristine and the foliage turns just right in the fall. Being a long time Bend family photographer I get to work with so many amazing families, visiting for family reunions or vacations or seeing them year after year as their children grow up here. Its an honor to capture moments for families.

Lifestyle photography allows kids and families to relax into their own home while they snuggle up and get their photos taken. We can put on some music, play and dance around the house, snuggle into your favorite chair with your kids, enjoy quiet moments with your new addition to the family, photograph your life as you experience it. My job is to come into your home, feel the energy that moves us and take beautiful photographs for you to cherish as your family grows.

Photographing an elopement is like being brought into the inner circle of someone’s life. Only the most intimate people are there, some are a secret, some are a surprise, most are so deeply romantic. I always feel extremely honored to be a chosen part of someone’s elopement or intimate wedding. Often these photos are all that are shared with the rest of their community after it is over.

I photographed my first wedding in 2013. They laughed as they walked down the aisle, the held hands, they kissed, they experienced the day with the deepest sense of gratitude. That day was about them and for them, and so were the photographs I delivered. My style is light, colorful, timeless. My presence is calm, respectful and able to take charge when needed. My job at weddings is to be a subtle presence that flows with the day.

Engagement sessions are often a bonus that I tell couples not to forget. Its a time you get to connect with your partner, practice for your wedding day photos and have a memorable evening to share together. Make it a date, bring some champagne, lets go for a hike, find a hidden stream to sit by, watch the sun set behind the trees.
