Questions from my couples and families…
Where can we find your price list?
I like to keep my prices simple with wide range for clients to choose from to match their budget and needs. You can see prices under Investment here.
How do we book with you?
Elopement dates are booked with the first couple to sign a contract and pay their $100 deposit to hold the date. Contracts are signed digitally or on paper, payments can be made with check, cash, venmo or credit card.
What Payment types do you accept?
Cash, check, card or Venmo. I will email you an invoice prior to your wedding, you can pay it online or bring a check to your day, both work fine.
Do you have a travel fee?
All Elopement packages include travel, for Family Session locations outside of the Bend Area but within Central Oregon I charge a flat $40, for overnights I charge for gas and accommodation, for day locations outside of Central Oregon I charge per mile outside of Bend.
How soon will the photos be ready?
I do my best to get photos enhanced and edited within 2-3 weeks, at latest 4 weeks. I am a strong believer in communication and will let my clients know a time frame. Rushed deliveries and 24 hour Sneak Peaks are available.
How is the final collection delivered?
In an online viewing gallery where you can view, download, share and order prints. You get full rights to the photos in your gallery.
Will the final album be fully edited?
Yes, every photo is edited to the extent you see on this site. If you have a specific look in mind or specific editing needs just let me know ahead of time. Some like it lite and airy some like it dark and moody, some are just happy to get a photo of their kid smiling, we can make it all happen!
Do we have to order prints through you?
Every package comes with a printing release so you’re welcome to print your images whenever, wherever you’d like, including with me.
Are you a full time photographer?
I am! Photography is one of my many passions, so are my four children, my Husband and our farm! I’m a Bend native and love playing tour guide to visitors!
Elopement Day Questions
Do we get to meet you ahead of time for our wedding?
That’s totally up to you! Most of my clients come from out of town for both weddings and family events so I often work by phone or email. But I’m here as much or as little as you’d like. And if you are interested in a site preparation visit or rehearsal dinner we can discuss adding that into the contract as well, it is not included.
Can we do our engagement sessions with you?
Of course! You can pick from one of the family packages as your engagement session package. I think engagement sessions are good practice for the big day, an excellent way to get the nerves out and practice your hair and makeup.
What happens if you become ill?
I will be there. In the rare event that something beyond my powers prevents me from attending your elopement, I will do everything that is in my power to find you a suitable replacement and I know many of the best in Bend, life is unpredictable but I am a believer in communication and always touch base with my couples leading up to their big day.
Family Photoshoot Questions
What do I wear to my Family Session?
I have summarized all my What to Wear tips here!
How many photos will we get?
Family Sessions depend on the session type and how many people. I don’t guarantee a minimum photo count but I also don’t cap it either. You’ll get more cute photos than you know what to do with! Sometimes sessions produce a lot of photos and some not as many, there are many factors out of my control, like lighting, location, kids moods, tourists etc. My job is to roll with the punches and capture it all!
Do you work with kids?
Ummm, yes. I love kids, I have four of my own! The more the merrier! Here is a great guide to sessions with kids.
Can I bring by dog to the photoshoot?
Yes, but I always caution to keep your expectations low. Generally, dogs have a short attention span for photoshoots and some really don’t like a stranger taking their picture. Usually with pets we split the session in half. Half with pup half without. Make sure you have a plan for what to do with your pup when he’s not in the lime light.
What about social media?
I technically hold the rights to post your photos, however I am not a big social media user and only use the bare minimum for advertising purposes. I won’t post anything I wouldn’t want posted of myself. I don’t include full names and I never include kids names. But if you want to not share anything, I can do that as well.
